ABOUT THE BOOK: This book is meant for students of B.Sc. (Hons.), (B.E./B. Tech) and Diploma Students of Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Sc., and Computer Engineering. 

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Dr. T. K. Bandopadhyay, obtained his Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University with First Class, in the year 1977. He got his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialisation in Instrumentation from Jadavpur University in the year 1981. He stood First Class First in order of merit in Masters of Electrical Engineering and won the University Medal. He obtained Ph. D. (Engg.) from Jadavpur University in the year 2008. In the year 1987 and joined as Principal of the Calcutta Technical School, a premier Diploma Engineering Institution of Eastern India. In June 1998 he joined as Principal of Hooghly Institute of Technology, Hooghly. He was holding the dual charge as Principal of Dr. Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, Haldia up to January, 2000. He acted as Principal at Engineering Institute for Junior Executives, Howrah, Birla Institute of Technology, North Calcutta Polytechnic, Jnan Chandra Ghosh Polytechnic, Women’s Polytechnic; Kolkata, Central Calcutta Polytechnic.

Presently, he is the Principal of West Bengal Survey Institute, Bandal, Hooghly and has been working in this position for the last 29 years. He was also the Guest Faculty member on Energy Management at the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Calcutta. Prof. Bandyopadhyay is associated with the Electronics and Instrumentation Industry. He is also associated with the Curriculum development of Electronics and Instrumentation. He is associated in the field of “Renewable Energy” and has some publications in reputed journals. He has also some research work on “Analog Circuits” and has a number of publications in the International Journal. He has long teaching experience at diploma/Degree level in the related field and is also associated with different professional Bodies/Societies in different capacities.
